How Adam Got Started in Real Estate
Like many pivotal moments in life, my journey into real estate investing began during a period of uncertainty. I reached a point where I felt lost and dissatisfied with the direction my future was heading. The Covid-19 pandemic forced me to reevaluate my choices, and amidst the chaos, I made a decision that turned out to be a costly mistake. Encouraged by a close friend who was also a real estate agent, my partner and I made an investment that didn’t align with our goals or understanding at the time.
That experience became a wake-up call. I realized that if I truly wanted to achieve financial freedom, I needed to take full responsibility for my decisions. I couldn’t rely solely on others’ advice—I had to equip myself with the knowledge and tools to make informed, educated choices. This shift in perspective sparked a transformation in my mindset. I began reshaping my habits, focusing on growth, and committing to learning as much as I could about real estate.
Together, my partner and I embarked on a journey of independent research, immersing ourselves in the fundamentals of real estate and understanding how it could be leveraged to build wealth. Once we had a solid foundation of knowledge, we decided to take the next step and joined a mentorship program. It was a commitment to ourselves and our future—a decision that has since been pivotal in shaping the life we’re working toward.
